See a lawyer - I hope you immediately filed for worker’s compensation, kept copies of ALL paperwork, and obtained statements from others as to the conditions and incident involved…Hope you’re doing much better…Good luck !!

Just an FYI, unfortunately it’s not how much you should sue them for it’s how much workers comp will give you. They base your case on a rating that you get at the end of your treatment and calculate your permanent disability as far as your injury or injuries go.

After all the treatment and doctors and doctors. You will put by your primary doctor I believe you would have an orthopedist since you have fracture, on permanent and stationary (which is just another term for discharged).

At which time your case might get settled. Your attorney will come to a settlement with the wc insurance carrier and of course you, if what they offer is reasonable, then you can discuss with your attorney if it is acceptable or compensates for your injury then you can accept and pretty much done deal. Oh, and if you have a case where you might need future medical treatment don’t forget to ask for future medical treatment because you never know if your case were to get worse you might need it. But, then again you have to talk all this out with your attorney before you settle, sometimes the wc insurance carrier will just pay off the future medical part as part of your settlement but then you won’t be able to get treatment thru the ins. company. Hopefully I didn;t confuse you with all the wording, well good luck to you.
