How is this idea a good 1?

Giving a member your mobile (cell) number should be ok, but make sure they are not old men pretending to be young girls.

Never give out your work or home phone numbers…Remember if the member becomes a nuisance and a jerk and they constantly rings you at old hours, your mobile number can be changed, but it is harder and more expensive to replace a new home phone number.

I’ve given out my number to so many people from this website and nothing bad has ever happend.

It depends on how well you know the person. If you just met them, bad idea. You never know who you are dealing with on FunAdvice or anywhere on the internet. Fake profiles run a muck (through no fault of the site creators…that’s just the way the web works). If you can stick to funmail or chat on the site, do so. Eventually if you establish a friendship with someone, a phone number might not be absolutely terrible. I have friends on here who call each other. I just don’t do any of that. I don’t trust it, no matter who I’m talking to. That’s just me though. Good luck!

People have ways of tracking cell phones. Dont chaa knoo.

Because I dont give it out to random people. After all its only a cellphone, I can easily block the person from calling me.
