how is my dog like this?

I had my dog for 2 years, then got another in july 09, it seems like the dog we got in july is teaching my other dog to be bad. Is this possible?

Answer #1

Lol. That’s so cute, but yeah of course it’s possible. Dog’s have their own language you know? You never know what they can be up to…

Answer #2

Ok, the new puppy may follow the other dog’s lead, but you are responsible for teaching it the rules. If it is behaving badly, you are responsible for correcting that.

Yes it can happen. I think okay so I had two dogs in 07 and then we got a new puppy and one of my dogs was a good dog and the other was well likes to run away…and now every time I let the bad one and the puppy out of there pin the bad runs off but always comes back. and Also the puppy runs off too but we have to go and get him :(

And my other dog we had to put down in nov 09.

Oh yes, it certainly is possible. Two heads are better than one :)…I’m sure the “good dog” thinks this new one is the best fun he’s ever had.

Yes,there is a lot of evidence to suggest that dogs can influence other dog’s behaviour . A couple of years ago we put our lovely family pet dog “Dennis” into kennels while we went abroad for two weeks.

He used to be so much fun, playing, doing tricks and was very obedient. He used to like a bowl of warm milk before he settled down for the night. Oh my God! When we fetched him back from the kennels,he was a different dog! I don't know who he was mixing with but he wouldn't do as he was told. He swore a lot and instead of his favourite warm milk he was drinking beer all of the time!
