How is milk coming out of my nipples and I just had my period?

I just recently had my period it started on Feb 27th an ended March 3rd and my nipples started to itch. Then a few min later around my nipples started to itch, then after that I noticed a little clear fluid coming out of my right nipple so I decided to squeeze a little and more clear fluid came out along with white milky substance. After I looked at the left nipple an squeezed and white milky substanced came out of it as well and faster than the other… How can I be pregnant if I just had my period 3 days ago???

Answer #1

Some women can still have their period every month and can still be pregnant…take a test to make sure

Answer #2

Typically you do not lactate throughout pregnancy. People that do will not lactate until the end of the pregnancy.

The lactation is caused by the increase in the hormone PROLACTIN. If the PROLACTIN is high without pregnancy/child breast feeding it means that your hormonal system is out of balance.

The causes of your hormonal imbalance can be many different things. This can be hyperthryoidism, a tumor on your pituitary gland but in most causes if caused by adrenal fatigue due to long term stress.

You can go to a doctor and get a full hormonal blood test done. This can help determine exactly why you are lactating.
