How hard is it to earn a scholarship?

I really want to go to college and make something of my life. but if I can’t go to college I won’t be able to. since my family is poor. A scholarship is my only hope. and I screwed up BIG time in my freshman year. and am doing decent in my 10th year am not in no after school stuff cause I got asthma ( so yea track and things like that is no good for me.). and as far as doing things like speech team or something around that. I Got a impediment. so I got trouble saying words ( I don’t even know if college will accept peoples with impediments). other then that am a great person. it not like I won’t talk to peoples or things like that. I just like to take my time talking to others. but am going into my junior year this fall. and I think it might be to late for me to get a scholarship. ( since I mess up my freshman year and some of my 10th). as far as PSAT go I think I can do very well on it.but I also heard college look at students classes they took in highschool. but I was in Special Ed 99% of my life. not cause I need extra learning just cause of my impediment. but I am in NJROTC so maybe that will help some?. scholarships seem impossible to get for me. Do anyone know how hard it is to get a scholarship ( when you got problems like me)?
