how do you write a song?

I don’t write love songs but when it comes to love songs I usually look at the past and how sometimes I know I don’t deserve that girl and point out what an amazing girlfriend she is to me and how much she means to me,look into the site search for Tattooed Love and read that song,I wrote it and it’s an example of a love song.

Just pen down you’r feelings for her, the priceless moments you spent with her, those sorrows and joys you shared with her,those little fights you had with her…!!

well, think about the feeling of still being in love with someone and write down everything that comes to mind. then try to fit it together.

well since im in a band I do that daily but anyway back 2 you all you have 2 do is write down your feelings…but in song form

well they say it’s just like a poem except you need to play around with the beat. I find it pretty hard though. out of years of poetry I wasn’t able to make one decent song until about a week ago when it hit me.

it’s different for people because some will hear a beat and then find the words or find the words and then a beat to match them. and even if your the other, I’d still suggest working on the lyrics.
