How do you memorize things?

I have to memorize 31 lines of romeo and juliet for the 22nd of feb. I was just wondering how would you go about memorizing them, or what are some good ways to memorize things? (like tips of tricks that may be used)

Answer #1

healoyeah is correct. The more your repeat things, the better you’ll remember them.

Here is how I remember lists of things:

Write it out 21 times, after 21 times your brain remembers it. Read it over and over and over again Read it out loud to yourself.

That way you’ll remember it. You’ll probably never forget it.

I had to do this my freshman year, just recite the lines over and over again out loud. For me, it’s easier to remember things when I say them OUT LOUD over and over again. Have someone practice with you. Good luck!

Answer #3

To be honest, an easy way for me to memorize things, is to write them out on flash cards, If I was you, I would write each line on a different index card, it may seem like a lot, but its really easy. Get colorful ones to make it more fun, and spunky. You will do great. :]
