Is there another way to lose weight?

I am a young teenage girl and I am trying to lose weight. I have been skipping breakfast and lunch and just eating supper and even through up twice. I feel terrible. Is there any alternative?

Yikes, it sounds like you need to learn a little bit about your body first! What you have been doing is going to make you gain weight, not lose it!

You should never skip meals when you are trying to lose weight. It might seem logical, but it actually has the opposite effect! When you skip meals your body thinks it is starving. It goes into “starvation mode.” That means your metabolism slows down and your body tries not to burn any calories. It stores as much as it can as fat for the hard times ahead. So that means, when you go to eat dinner, your body is going to try to store every bit of what you eat as fat.

What you should be doing is eating more often, not less often. If you eat more often, you will bring your body out of starvation mode. Your body will feel safe. Your metabolism will speed up. That means your body won’t be trying to store as much fat, and it will feel safe burning calories! You should eat about six small meals a day.

Also: -Drink plenty of water -Walk often -Avoid things high in saturated fat -Eat lots of fruits and vegetables

I think you are about the opposite of what you should be doing, if you eat late in the day you are more likly to gain weight. if you eat early in the day you burn of all the calories through out the day. i hope i help.

yeah there is but it can take a long time but it shouldnt make u feeli like you do , bassically eat healthy, dont skip meals and exerices everyday. when eating eat in small amounts and eat things such as fruit , just stay away from chocolate and anything that is classed as junk food. also only drink water as thsi has no fat or anything in it, just stay away from fizzy drinks and cafine type drinks as these have loads of fat and stuff in them!! all this takes time but u will feel better , and plus if u skip meals int he long run ur more likey to put on weight cus ypour body will take in more than it needs from that small amount of food u are haiving!! hope i have helped take care X
