How do I know if this modeling agent is a scamer or not?

Today I was at the mall, and someone came up to me and told me that they work at a modeling agency. They gave me their card and told me to call them. I really want to do this, but I want to be sure they are legit. How do I know if it’s a scam or not?

no its true I mean you still have to be careful of course but yes those people are usually working at malls downtown and stuff. and they are usually real. maybe google his name or agency to be sure

Call them, Ask them how much money they would need from you. If they ask for any money its a scam. True modeling agencies make money from you. Typically 40% for each booking. 20% from you the model and 20% from the clinet using you. If there is an open call or audtion and its on a weekend its not a real agency. If you actually go to their building look for the modeling license, it WILL be on the wall if its a legit business. The only money you would ever have to pay would be to the printing company printing your cards. IF they want you to pay them money…It’s a scam.
