How can I take my mind off this?
Well it’s spring break my aunt came from dallas with her two boys. My aunts divorced and legally its her ex’s holiday but he let her take them for like 4 days then he picked them up and took them. I was sad at first but I knew he was gonna bring them back so they could say goodbye to everyone. Plus my aunt was comming with my two other cousins! But from there things went down hill. My aunt got a cold so she couldn’t come wednesday. She still wasen’t feeling better thursday so she didn’t come thursday. Now its friday and she still says she s not feeling well enough to drive. Then with my other aunt there dad is not bringing my aunts lil boys back anymore because my other aunt isin’t comming. So my moms trying to take my mind off of this by taking me shopping and taking me to get my nails done and un grounding me(which was suposed to be for a month). But I dont want that stuff I just wanna be with my family. And nothing is better then spending time with people you love. What should I do?
I’m sorry that you’re disappointed. Every minute you spend being sad is a minute of happiness you’ve lost. Remember that you will get to see them some other time. Ask if you can arrange a special visit some other time. See if you can call them on the phone. Write them a letter or depending on their ages, draw them a picture. My daughter & her friend had a small journal they mailed back & forth to each other that helped them stay in touch. And enjoy time with your mom because she seems to love you very much.
