How can I get my ex back?

My ex and I had broken up close to two months ago, soon after the break up my ex and I had reconsidered getting back together and my dad is in iraq and my dad came home for two weeks on are and are so he came over to meet him, and he felt that my dad was being rude to him, so we never got back together and ever since then he had been avoiding me for close to five weeks. He had recently started talking to me unexpectadley. After we finished talking and went our seperate ways he texted me soon after and said “ you seemed happy when I talked to you” and I said I was just shocked and his friend came to talk to us too, and he said in the text his friend thinks I still like him, and he said I think he may be right? And he was questioning whether I still liked him or not. Then he said he saw on my a social site page, then I was talking to a guy, and I knew he would read my a social site so I put that there on purpose so he was asking who it was and stuff. Then one night about two or three days ago he texted me saying “honestly on a scale of 1-10 how much do you still like me?” and I said 8. And he was acting differently so I asked if he was ok and he said not really and I asked why and he wouldnt tell me but he finally did and he said he just misses people and the way things used to be. Then he said he felt sick to his stomach and I asked why and at first he said I don’t know. And I was trying to cheer him up so I told him I loved him and he said what???! And I said I was just trying to cheer up up, it took your mind off whatever is bothering you huh? And he said actually it made it worse.. And I asked why and he said half of his stomach hurts and half of his stomach feels awesome because half of him still loves me. And I hang out with this guy a lot so he asked “ who is that blonde dude that keeps following you around all the time?” do you think I have a chance at getting him back, if I do what could I do to get him back???
