How can I get both of my friends back?

Well, at the beginning of the school year, I got two very nice friends, Amanda and Anna.

Well, I was better friends with Amanda, and Anna was very nice too…

Just at the end of the Fall trimester, Amanda and Anna begin hanging out more. They never invite me to their houses anymore, and I feel terrible about it, because we where only friends for a few months…

Since I was closer to Amanda, I was more comfortable in telling her how I felt. I sent her an email (because I’m too shy to talk to her face to face). And every time I see her check her email, I see her DELETE it! I got so angry after that.

So when I got ticked off, I sent her an email saying I was very mad and didn’t want to be friends with her. Of course, I felt bad right after I sent it, and she actually read it.

After that, I sent her about five different apology emails, and thanked her for not telling anybody about it…

Then about three months later, she tells Anna that I hated her, which wasn’t true at all! And later on they both tell people that I wrote Amanda a hate letter, after sending her five, very long emails that I was sorry!

I later on talked to her about the lies she spread about me (the email was partly true, but I still wouldn’t call it a hate email…). And she still hangs out with me now, but it seems like she’s obsessing over Anna. I love them both as friends, but they just act so differently around me…

babe if you have tried and worked things out and they are not coming around than I dont htink you were truly not friends with them :(

Answer #2

Why would you continue to try and be friends with girls who obviously don’t put the same amount of effort in. This is only setting you up for disappointment. You only give people the satisfaction of joy when you give into their cruel ways. If you stop letting it get to you and put on your “poker face” so to speak, they will stop spreading rumors about you, whether they are half true or not. If they don’t make an effort to invite you to any of their little events then so be it. Don’t let it get to you. Find new friends to hang out with. Some friends that would actually want to hang out with you, and be around you. You shouldn’t have to contemplate whether you are a good enough friend or not. Some people are just too stuck up to realize that other people are just as friend worthy as they are.
