How can I dress more muslim and modest for school?

Definitely speak to the school (or have your parents do it) about being able to modify your uniform. I’m not sure how it is in Australia but in the States here they cannot discriminate based on religion and have to make exceptions to respect a person’s personal beliefs.

For a quick fix before then (I’m not a Muslim and to be completely honest I’m not sure what all the requirements entail but I am assuming that modesty is the key here) … wear very dark, opaque tights that cover the skin well and add a layer under the skirt. You might be able to wear a longer skirt or slip under the skirt that comes past the knees.

They should be able to work with you. Talk to your parents about your concerns. That can never hurt.

Well my one friend at school (im not muslim-have nothing against them as long as they are not radical btw) instead of wearing a turban (I think thats the name of it) he wears kind of a skull cap’really tight hat on his head.

could you talk to the school about allowing you to wear a different skirt that you’re more comfortable with? If not, maybe wearing opaque tights underneath it would help

Ask if you can wear a longer solid color skirt under your uniform skirt.
