How can I become more motivated?

Okay, so lately I’ve been trying to lose a little bit of weight, not a lot but a few pounds just to slim down. The problem is, I always feel so unmotivated. Then, I end up eating a huge cookie or brownie and think, “oh well I’ve already ruined it today, I might as well start tomorrow.” But I always end up doing the same thing. How can I become motivated and really stick to my goals?

I think that you have to look beyond just, “how you will look”. Almost every one has that picture of how they will look when the finally get a fitness plan together and actually activate it. Simply imagining your perfect physic is never enough. You need to focus on the small steps you make daily. For instance, not eating that brownie or taking a brisk walk, drinking a lot of water should be rewarded. Start small and you won’t get so overwhelmed.

If you do slip up, don’t beat yourself up and give up. Get back up and do something different the next day or later that same day. Believe me when I tell you that the hardest part is starting. Once you have a routine down for two weeks you will be so proud of yourself and you will notice the difference in your skin, sleeping habits, ect. When you think of working out and looking your best, see it as a lifestyle. Not just some quick way to attract someone to you.

well this may help because this is what I do to continue to workout and try to get bigger. I think about what will happen in the long run when I obtain my goal. for example: I workout and get a nice body, later on I end up impressing a girl. getting a nice body was my goal and impressing the girl is the out come in the long run. take your goal and think of what you can get out of it.
