Where do I find a decent job in Cincinnati?
Ok… I have a Felony Conviction for a violent crime, and I was doing things right for a while beforehand… I graduated High School and joined the military, but now I’m dishonorably discharged, and am living in hell! Where do I find a decent job in Cincinnati? I’m not an inherently bad person… I just made a bad mistake and payed for it with 8 years of my life. I’m truly tired of the stigmata that is applied to me whenever someone learns that I was in prison.
Truth be told, I was convicted of rape and sodomy and sentenced to 13 years, but was released after 8 years.
I don’t expect you to understand, but at the time the crime was committed, I was very angry and lashed out in the wrong way. I didn’t know how to control my anger and had bottled it up for so long that it just came out that night. It not only ruined my life, but hers as well… She didn’t deserve it and I really do regret doing what I did (not because I had to pay for it). But now I just want to move on with my life.
Anything in the sewing factories would be nice as well seeing as I have tons of experience in industrial sewing and embroidery.
I’m not really in the position to be picky, but I was thinking about a non-seasonal landscaping job or something like that. you know trim trees and mow grass in summer, plow snow in winter etc. I don’t expect there’s a lot out there for me though.
