I cant meet new people I dont have time. too focused on school and have very very strict parents. …I have been like this since nov. 18, 05. HELP PLEASE! on top of that I have commited suicide 3 times in06 cause of him. but I stopped fotunately. I dont want to be to intricate because it will get too long and it will make me cry again.

THAHNK YOU J1993 AND ANGELFIRE FOR RESPONDING I APPRECIATE IT! =) i did do everything actually that you mentioned for about 7 months. the myspace, aim, phone numbers, friends, I EVEN MOVED OUT HERE TO CALIFORNIA because of him and well school also. but mainly him. it sucks because i know i still have feelings for him. its like this. i convince myself for about a week that i dont have feelings for him and then they come back. i have been thinking about getting a psychologist but its like dayam i dont have that kind of money. i am ruining my life! and pretty much since i started talking to him and then regretted it i have been avoiding those things and i know its going to take time but. but i feel like i in the same emotional state that i was 7 months ago. All that time went to waste now i have to start all over again. His girlfirend is so fortunate that he loves her so much. He’s like waiting on her hands and feets. sighhh there no point…=(

One of the quickest ways to get over someone is to cut them off. Don’t talk to them, don’t see them, and don’t hook up with them. You’ll never get over them that way. To fully cut someone out, you can’t stalk them. We all love to spy on our exes via facebook, myspace, or AIM. Stop it; it’s not going to help. Take them off of your friends, block their screen name so you can’t check their away message, and just get it all out. You’re going to want to look but you have to resist. This helps rid the temptation. Also, don’t spy on them by talking to your friends or their friends. The less you know about what they’re doing the better. Focus on yourself and your confidence. You want to stop thinking about them, not continue it!

yeah, you definately need to cut off all communication with him. don’t see him, don’t talk to him…don’t even talk ABOUT him. when you find yourself thinking about him, use whatever method of distraction works best for you (watching tv, listening to music, practicing a hobbym anything!). he needs to stay out of sight/out of mind in order for him to get out of your heart. when you’re really ready to move on, know that the best cure for an old love is a new one. don’t just use people to try to get over him - this WILL NOT work and you’ll only end up hurting people/getting hurt again. start off by casually dating and keeping yourself busy.
