What happened to the nurse?

I heard that the nurse died for a prank call, but I’m not sure if she killed herself for that, because if Iam right she only put the call through to another person, but on the news it was all mixed, so if that’s what happened the prank didn’t have anything to do with that. She just had many problems and if that’s the case I will think that the news think that people we believe everything without making questions about it. It must be true because it was on the news. The media thinks we are idiots that believe everything they say. What do you think?

Well, she did take her life - that much is true. It’s assumed that the reason is the prank, but the only person who can answer that question for certain is the nurse, herself.

I’m of the opinion that she had underlying issues, and this was just the frosting on the cake.

Yes it was the prank call. The call was from a radio station to the hospital Kate was staying at. The caller pretended to be the Queen and asked where she could find Kate. The nurse told her exactly where the Dutchess was staying as well as every one of the live listeners. Soon after, an investigation of the safety of the hospital’s patients went underway and this nurse was world wide news. The hospital assured her she didn’t break any laws but even the actual Queen herself had something to say about it. She felt so bad because she had failed her job and everyone new about it she decided to end her life. She was a wife and a mother and the radio presenters have received so much hate mail they’ve stepped down from their roles until the investigation is over.

They didn’t “step down” - they were suspended.
