Grandparents rights to their grandkids

Should grandparents be aloud to take parents to court for visitation of a child over 2 years of age if the grandparent has never been involved in the child life since they were born?

Answer #1

Nooo!

Only Parents

Answer #2

Grandparents should have been involved and parents should not rob their children of the chance to get to know and love their grandparents - both are wrong.

Answer #3

They have a right…but I would think that the courts would take into consideration the reason they haven’t been involved. If it was their choice then I can’t see them getting visitation now but if the parent kept them away for the 2 years then they might win.

Answer #4

Yes. But that doesn’t mean that they would win in court. The court would probably consider why the grandparents hadn’t been involved.
