My boyfriend just left for basic training. Weeks prior he had told me he just was going to have graduation be a family thing so I would just stay home from it. I know his mom asked if I was going to go but he already said no without asking me. I respected his choice but should I be worried about him not wanting me there?
Dont jump to conclusions ...Every one is different and he obviously has a good reason, maybe its a dodgy reason or maybe its innocent...its more likely to be innocent IMO...maybe he is emarressed about something at home, or his family , or because you have it better somehow?...Maybe his family last time they met a girlfriend embarressed him...there is loads of things it could be so dont go thinking its YOU...Just weigh up everything else and if all smells sweet then stick with what he wants, for now...there is a time limit lol
Yeah, I think you should be weirded out by this. Have you two been together for a while? I don't understand why he wouldn't want his girlfriend there to support him and congratulate him. That's just so bizarre to me. And to answer for you when he didn't even ask you is rude. You should ask him straight up why he doesn't want you there... But at the end of the day if he really wants it to be a family thing, then you're just going to have to accept his decision because it's his day.
we have been together for 5 months now. He was cheated on in his last relationship twice so I kind of think he is afraid I will leave him maybe and thats why...idk he should know by now im not going to but it's just weird to me and i dont understand
