What should I do go to the army or the s.w.a.t.

I would go with Army first then once you get trained and no all the techniques,apply for SWAT that way your all trained and have a great background to back you up while on duty.

You can’t just “go to the S.W.A.T.” You have to be a member of a law enforcement department that has a team first, and younger and inexperienced officers usually cannot join the S. W. A. T. team for several years.

Other than that, I would say the decision comes down to your motivations for wanting to join either in the first place. The Army and your local SWAT team have very different goals, lifestyles, etc. If you just want to shoot guns and blow stuff up for more reason, I would tell you what I tell all the recruits I have like that: “Join the Marines. The Army doesn’t need crazies to fill it’s ranks like th USMC does.”
