Do you think that gmo salmon should be allowed?

I think that if we are now having to genetically modify mother earth’s beautiful animals, then it’s time to take a step back and think about what we are doing to our world.

Yes, and I think it is bull crap, I don’t want to eat it, and I think it just like the corn the people stick there hands in things that don’t need to be altered.

I love salmon, but I don’t think I would ever want to eat this, the thing is like everything else in the US, you might not know it. They stick there modified corn in almost every product we have.

Well, I don’t really eat salmon anyway…so, it doesn’t exactly effect me much. That is probably part of the reason I am on the fence about the subject. I see your point though…it doesn’t seem good. :/

It’s sad but pretty much everything is a GM crop these days. Soon vegetables and fruit will have no nutrients whatsoever! People don’t realize the impact on the environment, seemingly they are doing no harm by growing ‘supercrops’, but in reality, the fertilizer is being washed into waterways, causing massive eutrophication problems, killing the fish. In fact, that’s probably why we need more Salmon now..

You are incredibly ignorant. Do you know what we are doing when we selectively breed two animals together to get offspring that have traits we desire? Or when we only grow plants with certain qualities, such as strong stems or a certain colour flower? Genetically modifying them. We’ve been doing it for thousands of years, since we first domesticated animals. Use your brains, people.
