Global warming is not a scam, it is a very real phenomenon that is supported by the vast majority of climatologists. To say there is still a debate that global warming is happening is false.

http://www.realclimate.org/

What IS up for debate is exactly how global warming will progress, and what it’s impacts will be. We are seeing the affects of global warming most visibly in the ice caps of Greenland and other parts of the Arctic. However, there are weather occurrencies that are often blamed on global warming, when these are actually caused by regional and local weather patterns, or wider patterns like La Nina, which has been going on for a while.

Anyway, check out the websites, they will give you all the info you need on why global warming is happening, and how.

try this site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming

and the “pollution” jello is referring to is carbon dioxide which is produce when we burn gas, methane and ozone, these gases stop the heat loss into space and lead to the warming of the earth…

Answer #4

Well since people are poluting and such, the atmosphere gets filled with our polution. The warmth from the sun hits the earth and bouces off and back into space…but the pollution is trapping some of the suns warmth in our atmosphere so the globe is gradually warming up, causing the ice caps to melt, etc, etc

It’s pretty important to think of it as Climate Change, rather than Global Warming, because some of the changes aren’t to do with warming up, but to do with storms or floods or whatever.

And, while it’s true that the earth goes through cycles naturally, this is the first time that we humans have been powerful enough to influence the cycle. Our influence (pollution mainly) is what is making the climate change faster, and more dramatically, and that’s why we are being asked to pay attention to it and change the way we live our lives, making a bit less pollution and using a bit less ‘stuff’.

The fastest and worst climate changes are happening to poor people in countries away from most of us, so perhaps that’s why we don’t care very much…

Answer #8

I don’t believe in global warming because its stupid I think that pollution is wrong but if you think on it really hard right before the ice age the earth got really hot and then it froze I don’t think that it is caused by us I think that it is a natural thing that the earth does. But I don’t know I could be wrong and Global Warming is a theory not a fact like most people think it is. just to let you know I hope that I helped a little bit you might not agree but oh well its your opinion.

Answer #9

Global warming is a way for people to make money with unproven facts. . . . .

Answer #10

the globeis warming XD here => An increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere, especially a sustained increase sufficient to cause climatic change.

Answer #11

uwaa !!! thx ! so many answers.

Answer #12
