Is it okay to give Melatonin to an 8 year old child?

Answer #1

SMALL DOSE. But yes, you can. I would recommend 3 mg

Answer #2

I think so because it’s natural, right…? probably just give a smaller dose, like tori said. You could also try going to a health food store/natural foods store and looking at their natural products. I’ve tried valerian root before and that helped me sleep as well.

Answer #3

yes it is completely okay to give an eight year old Melatonin because it is just an extra enhancement of the natural chemical in the brain. Nothing over six or so mg though I don’t think. I was having 9mg Melatonin when I was twelve. Nine is the highest they do

Answer #4

Just so you know, they do come in 10mg also
