Girl friend's ex

hey, my girl friend told me today that her ex just tried to ask her out today- she said no ofcourse. then apparently he asked her to marry him. now if we were older, id be out for blood. however, im only 16, and she’s only 15, and even more rediculess, her ex is 14. I told her how idiotic this whole thing is, and hhow foolish this kid is. the result was a 5 hour fight. now today shes asking me for advice about the whole thing. I want to tell her whats realy on my mind- that this child is a fool, and he is a morron for thinking that a primary school crush would actualy be his wife. I respect his fealing emotions and fealings, but she tells me that he says he wants to hurt me so he can have her. im trying to be diplomatic and understanding, but if this liitle squit calls me out, im going to defend my self and my honnor.

how can I even begin to help my girlfriend, when I would just as quickly squish her problem, then help her deal with it.

I don’t understand what the problem is exactly. She chose you as a boyfriend and she has said no to her ex. Why is she even still talking to the guy? And why is she talking about this with you? Am I missing something? Seriously, if she says and wants to be with you then why is she even bringing this whole thing up and why doesn’t she just ignore her ex. Tell her to stand up for herself because he obviously has no respect for her or her feelings towards you. This is only a problem if she wants it to be one and you shouldn’t have to deal her indecision.
