How to get my friends back?

look, im in 7th grade and my best friend was not hanging out with me at the beginning of the year for some reason. last year he and the other group of people I hung out with were best friends. my best friend started hanging out with other people. me and my group noticed this. he left me out extremely. everyone said I was funny last year but this year it was hard to make anyone laugh at all. my best friend stopped hanging out with the other kids after a while and now is back with me and my group. now he is trying to take over and turn everyone against me. he is always saying im not funny and im gay which I am not. everyone in my group used to think I was helarious and that I was really cool and nice. but now since he started turning people against me they could care less about me and think im not funny at all. everyone in my group and outside of my group love him now and I dont know why. now everyone tries to avoid me and hates me and im so mad. can anyone please help me sort this out?
