how do you fix faux fur after it's been through the dryer?

Answer #1

It really depends on how bad it is. If it isn’t too damaged you can use a brush or a fine comb and comb the fur. It will take a bit of work though to get it back to the way it looked before. For future reference, never dry any clothing that has fake fur. You hand wash it and then lay it out to dry…then comb or brush the fur to make it look new again.

Answer #2

You may have ruined your faux fur because it can not be exposed to high heat.Faux furs are highly recommended to be spot cleaned with mild soap and dry cleaned because of the satin lining. However dry cleaning maybe a little expensive to some but it can also be line dried. I hope this information was helpful Summy16
