Why when I finger her does she feel pain, even though I'm gentle?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for 18 months now and we both love each other a lot. We are both 18 and virgins. While we were making out the other day she was really wet and I was just rubbing her down there. She told me to put my finger in her, and I was mostly gentle, but I think I went too far in, too fast. She said it hurt, even though I barely moved when I was inside her. About a month later, we were doing the same thing and we did it again. This time I was extremely careful, getting my finger wet all around and going very slow. She said it felt good but also hurt at the same time! well, yeah. I was suggesting masturbation because it will be a lot more comfortable and a lot less painful. But practice will make things easier.

well, obviously i’m a lot younger so its harder for me to say, i’ve made mistakes in my time. And it really depends on how you do it, if she is tight, then what ever you do, dont shove too many fingers in, that will hurt alot. You have been together for a while, so you should be open with eachother, ask her if its hurting, tell her you want to know so you can make it better for her, no one knows more thzn her if something hurts or not, its different for everyone :)

Thanks for your advice everyone! It’s been about a month since I asked this question, but this past weekend I gave her an ‘O’, with two fingers moving quickly, so it was just time and experience that helped!
