What is your favorite genre for a story?
My brother programs and has made websites before, and I am making myself a website where I will write short stories, and longer ones too, and perhaps some poetry, where people can view them, sorta like a book series, online? Or something along those lines.. I started writing around when I learned to write, and this person I now is going to do the art and drawings for the books/articles/short stories, etc. I would like to know what the majority of preferences for peoples favorite genres?(:
Well me, personally, I love historical fiction the best. However, for the general public, it seems the most popular genre right now is the whole supernatural/fantasy/adventure/mystery-type of story.
I kinda like those stories that have a journey, a sort of quest, but not in the vein of some fantasy story, but of self-exploration as you go along. You no the saying, the destination is not as important as the journey itself so you end up learning a lot of about yourself.
I love horror. And anything kind of like a journey , like Stephen L said.
