There are many cryogenic laboratories throughout the world that maintain temperatures extremely close to "absolute zero" [ 0 Kelvin ] -273°C.
The "Large Hadron Collider" ( LHC ) at CERN in Europe generates matter with a temperature in the order of 4 trillion °C immediately following it's high energy ion collisions. That is a temperature in the order of a quarter of a million times higher than at the core of the Sun.
The superconducting magnets used within the LHC operate at just below 2 Kelvin. (about -271°) , .....
Thus the LHC has (perhaps) at times simultaneously got the most extreme range of low and high temperatures ever attained within the Universe in 14 billion years since the big bang.
