EX FELON EMPLOYMENT

It is hard for all Ex-felons to find a job. I was very lucky to of found one in less then 6 months after my release from prison after 14 years for a sex offence. I am one of those offenders you don’t hear much about It’s been 3 years and I have not re-offened or broken any law. But I was laid off from my job because of the problems with the auto industry. So for more then 8 months I have been looking for work in Ohio and can not find anyone who will give me a chance everything is falling apart. Why they are more interested in something that happened 17 years ago, instead of wanting to know what I can do for them today,just floors me. I am a welder trained in the army and machine operator. I know I just have to keep trying all you other ex-offenders don’t give up, Just keep going maybe your luck will be lot’s better then mine.
