How do I deal with an embarrasing family?

I know exactly what you mean. I think sometimes that my family is the weirdest on the island but amazingly, I’ve grown to enjoy their little quirks and so have all my friends. When I first bring someone over, I just warn them that I have lots of animals and that my family can be a little weird and it always does the trick! Now I almost cant keep my friends away.

Everyone is deferent in their own way. You can’t judge some by the people they live with.( really you should judge people anyway) Most of the time people would prefer to be around someone else house because we all feel like our families are weird. Don’t worry about what others would think because you miss out on good things in life by doing so, just remember anyone that is close to you will love you for who you are now, but not by what you were or where you came from..

The truth is everyone’s family is a bit odd! I used to think that my family was odd and different untill I talked about it with friends and noticed that everyone’s family was a bit odd. If you come from a healthy family with no major problems then just be grateful!! With time you’ll realise that maybe your family isn’t that odd afterall…
