What are some possible effects of poor eating in children?

Answer #1

malnutrition is the most scary effect of all. They will not be able to grow well, and will of course affect the growth of their brain and its ability too.

Answer #2

what about the emotional and social part of unhealthy eating like bullying etc

Answer #3

Well in the USA it is child obesity leading to health issues at a real early age. As a parent I think you are 100% liable for your child’s diet, and it is your responsibility to insure their health though good nutritional habits.

Answer #4

Poor nutrition in children can cause stunted growth, affect the child’s ability to learn, and a worsened ability to fight off infection and illness.

Answer #5

If talking about emotional growth I believe it is affected accordingly. A poor mother, or a mother who can not supply her children with good nutrients is in trouble and will affect the kids’ emotional growth too. About bullying, hhhmmmm society will put pity instead of bullying them, I am sure.

Answer #6

OBESITY!!!!

Answer #7

OBESITY!!!!

Answer #8

It also effects later life. Why are people of all ages getting sick today, way earlier than one should. Poor diet, and most of all processed foods do not have much nutrition in it. Processed food are designed for one to eat more, constantly. That is why we americans are obese. Other nations eat better than we do, eat more natural and eat less, have more energy, live longer, and live with less illness.

We americans eat mostly processed foods, less cooking at home. More sick. Big business for medicos and big pharma. Is that what we want as a nation. If one is lazy one gets what they put their minds to, illness.
