Can you eat starfish?

Starfish kinda scare me. Idk why, they’re just freaky. Anyway, but I was watching Spongebob and the question came to me on wanting to know, do people eat starfish?

I don’t think u can, I watch a lot of cookin shows and have never heard of anyone cookin or eatin starfish

I don’t think so… They don’t seem very meaty. But people do eat sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and limpets. As an island girl, I love sea urchins and limpets. Mmmmmm :)

You can actually eat starfish although they are not known for their good taste. They are apparently a delecasy in Japan. They are supposed to be very rubbery though.

It’s the sea urchin roe that you eat out of the large, black, spiny urchins, the ones that are poisonous. You put them in a chicken wire cage and shake it and the spines will come off. :)
