Why do my ears always pop when I yawn?

My dad thinks its because i’ve still got water in my ears from swimming this morning but i doubt thats possible as its only started happening. Could a reason be because i’m coming down with a cold? how do i get rid of it?

Answer #1

well it could be a cold, but it is from the pressure equalizing, which normally the thing that causes pressure changes is changes in elevation or mucus that covers the tubes that run from your ears down into your throat.

Answer #2

it’s just a sound of eustachian tube.. It is normal..problem stands out when it doesn’t pop.

Answer #3
