Ear piercing infection I REALLY NEED HELP

Hey Everyone, Ok heres the deal I got my ear pierced like 4 months ago, its at the top of my ear so it isn’t in the fatty area. I never had any problems with it until recently, Theres like..ok “gross part” Kind of like a bloody pussy boil right under my ear ring stud. I can move the ear ring and everything it seems its like theres infection other it. I can pop it but it keeps coming back and it’s REALLY nasty. I just keeps getting bigger. I keep putting anti-bacteria on it, hasn’t helped. I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to take the ear ring out cause the hole that the ear ring is in doesn’t seem to be infected…

I really need some advice, I love it but I need to get rid of this thing but I don’t know what to do should I just leave it keep getting bigger and stop popping it?.. Ok ill be waiting for answers! PLEASE HELP

I don’t think its an ingrown hair to be honest. I got my casrtilage pierced twice. once with the gun once with the needle. noth times had it done for a few minutes and the same thing would happen to me. it just would not heal. I couldnt sleep on it so ended up taking it out the first time. the second time I got a small hoop in my ear but yet again, it wouldnt heal. I loved it too.

My friend got hers done at the same time. if you can deal with it leave it it might clear up. otherwise sorry but itll have to come out. either way keep it clean

did you get it done with a gun? If so go to a real piercer and get them to change it to a decent labret stud Also DON’T take it out even if dr tells you to if it is infected if you take it out them you risk trapping an infection and it spreading

ok I’ve pierced my ear multiple times and I work at a pro piercing salon. u need to take that piercing out and see your doctor right away. it might just b a sack of skinn filled with puss. or worse but what ever it is it can be easily removed by your doctor. TAKE THE PIERCING OUT!!!

As strange as this might sound, what you describe sounds like an in-grown hair. Try putting a warm damp washcloth on it 20 minutes at a time. This will help bring out the in-grown hair.
