Ear infection/loss of hearing

I am fifteen and I have the worst ear infection ever. It’s so bad that I can’t hear out of my left ear. I am on antibiotics and decongestants but I reallly want to be able to hear soon. I can’t take it and it hurts. I’ve tried peroxide and olive oil, are there any over remedies I can try???

Are you a swimmer? If you are, then it could be “swimmers ear”. I use to get them when I was on the swim team. You can however, use over the counter ear wax removal. Follow the instructions and see if it works. If not, then you need to go to your doctor to have the wax extracted from your ear. It’s not that painful to get it removed…but it can be if it’s really in there. Don’t shove q-tips in your ear!! You can lodge the wax in even more. If you don’t take care of this…you can in the future have permanent hearing loss.
