Dry gums and nose on a dog

Why would my dog have a dry and warm nose and dry gum’s?

Answer #1

That would indicate that he is dehydrated…try giving him mineral water because…when animals get dehydrated their body uses up all of the nutrients in their bodies to try and replenish their thirst this should help…if symptoms prosist take your dog to the vet

Answer #2

sometimes when a dog isn’t feeling well, it will not drink enough water or eat good. He is probably dehydrated. You should watch him over the next 24 hrs and make sure he’s drinking water and urinating. If he isn’t, it’s time to make a vet apt. to see if the matter is serious.

Answer #3

I don’t know exactly WHY his gums and nose are dry or warm…I don’t think that indicates that he is ill. The indicators in his gums would be…are they pale? Are they very red? Is his mouth cold? These are the things that will say “I’m sick”…
