Am I sabotaging our relationship?

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost 5 months now but we have been long time best friends. I have mild depression and it affects how I think. So if we are having a conversation automatically if a bad thought pops in my head it comes out and then we argue but yet he always tells me to tell him what is on my mind. I feel like we need some time apart but I couldn’t take that, I would go insane. I told him from the start I was going to hurt him cause I’m not real good at relationships. I don’t know what to do and he constantly tells me to break up with him but I cant I wont and I don’t want to. He is my world my life my everything. What am I to do???

Stop whining and get some help. Obviously, your depression is on the more serious side - so perhaps you should see a doctor or a therapist. As for your boyfriend - he could just as easily break it off with you too, so either he really likes you OR he is in bad shape too. My money is on the latter - most sane men (and women) don’t like to deal with deppressives because…well… it is VERY depressing.

You need to go see a therapist who can put you on meds to help control you depression, Wat you are experiencing is brain lock, when you think of a bad thought and it just doesnt move out of your mind, so you get down about it and then tell your bf, your bf loves you, but he is not a therapist and can only support you so much, you need to take control of this for the sake of your relationship and go and see someone. they can put you on meds to help control the thoughts running through your head and help with your depression.
