How can I make my dog love only me?

spend time with your dog alone and also try to make him obey you by commanding him, not become so generous to him

That really makes me feel better and helpful thanks:(. Im not trying to limit her I am strong believer in socializing dogs to people and other animals. I wanted her to be exactly what she is outgoing and lovabke toeveryone. I just feel like she dosent see me different than anyone else.Is that so wrong?

wrong…. not really. If you feed her, give her attention, etc. she will see you differently cause you are the provider. However, she is a dog and will either hate or love everyone. Dogs don’t think as humans do.

All animals “pick” owners. You can’t actually “own”, or “make a dog love you”. You can have an animal but this doesn’t mean that the animal has choose you. Like for instince, my family got a cat, and she didn’t want anything to do with anyone eles, so she picked me. She follows me around the house and sleeps with me at night. It got to where we keep all of her things in my room(excpet the litter pan XP ew).

She follows me everywhere to since she was 8wks. But sometimes I feel like she didnt pick me. I dont know maybe im thinkin to much .Her breed is known to be drama queens:) anyway thanx

take the dog for walk feed her spend more time with her.but a playful dog will always be playful dog…but if you want a dog to be with you and scare strangers, you restrain the dog from going out rigth from a puppy stage and spend more time with it..

Take care of the dog. Be the one who feeds him, who bathes him, and everything else. I’m pretty sure your dog will remember that it’s you who keeps him alive, so he’ll protect you, therefore making you sort of his owner cause he’ll supposedly be with you all the time, like follow you or something. I think that’s how dogs are, they are closest to however they feel like loves them the most.

you cant and why would you? dogs love everyone you cannot make it like or love only you. you can however train it to listen to only you.
