If your dog is still a puppy then its pretty normal but can be handled. Get a muzzle. Also, make sure you have a consistent routine w/your dog. Like when they eat and when you walk them and play w/them. It helps normalize your living situation and every single time it comes to bite u, then put the muzzle on for a few min. It will calm down and cant bite u. Watch tv or go about your business ignoring the dog 100%. Take the muzzle off and if it doesnt bite u, then give it a treat. Treat it for not biting and go get it some training at petsmart or petco. It will help. I have a jack russell terrier and all this worked w/her. She was a biter since the day we got her at 10 1/2wks old. At 11 or 12wks we put her in training and got a muzzle and treated her for small things. Now shes 1yr and 6months and shes a licker lol But its all in love as we know. your dog shouldnt b biting u..your the owner and you are the one to dicispline it.

You don’t say WHEN the dog is biting…if it’s during play, do as ty said…say NO!…and leave the room…That’s the true “doggie” way of showing dominance…If it’s a pup, this will take a little time, but hey…you got some of that, don’t ya? Since it’s easier for YOU to learn about dog behavior than it is for the dog to learn about human behavior…why not study up on your little friend a bit???

Any of the other advice on your subject showing here, is BS…beating a pup doesn’t make it respect you, and pulling it’s teeth is out and out stupid, of course…

that is animal abuse. if the only way you can teach something is to hit it, that says quite a bit about you.

Answer #6

Hope you don’t have any dogs…cats or children for that matter…chanman.

Answer #7

Every time she tries to bite stick her toy in her mouth. Eventually she’ll learn toys are for chewing, not you.
