Does sleeping make you fat?

I like to get a lot of sleep and take naps ocasionally. My mom kept telling me that’s why I’m so fat. Does sleeping a lot have anything to do with weight gaining?

absoultly not. sleeping actually is good. I heard you BURN calories while you sleep because you move or what not. kinda hard to explain but thats gayyy. your mom saying your fat because you sleep. WOW

if you eat and then go to sleep you lose more weight than if your eating and watching tv

nope…if you sleep.. about 8hours…is like you don’ t eat anything during the sleep so you can’ t get fat…when I was trying get some muscles..I was eating much before I went leep and drinking proteins and when I woke up I was immediately eating some food etc…If you want to loose some kg. try to eat fruits etc…not much food at evening and have a good sleep about 10hours and then have just some snack:]

If you do nothing but sleep and eat then yes but other than that no.

Sleep is healthy for you, with a few other factors it can potentially increase your metabolism and it restarts and refreshes your body.

Sleeping actually burn calories. You lose about 60-100 calories for every hour you sleep.

Even though sleep is a good thing, too much sleep can be bad. You need to exercise on a daily basis at least half an hour to keep your body healthy.

And FYI you’re not fat :)

I dont think sleeping a lot can make you add some kg’s. I think so because when you’re sleeping you’re not exercising. But some do say when you sleep you loose some calories. From experience I got a bit fat. But I wanted it. another thing if you sleep and got to sleep immidiately after now that should make you fat. After eating walk around a bit don’t engage in too much exercise (as you might throw up) but dont relax either.

I have no freakin idea buyt I think yes because if you eat then like After you sleep then yeah because fat reduses hehe lolz its true trust me Don’t sleep to much ok
