Does Six Months Make a Presidency?

Why are people judging Pres. Obama only after six months?

Answer #1

Presidents are all judged as they proceed in their term. Obama is not getting unduly criticized. He will be scrutinized with every piece of legislation, every appointment and every action taken. Part of the job…Furthermore, he has been given very easy treatment by the mainstream media thus far. That can be easily measured.

Answer #2

Exactly how are you measuring his treatment by the media? It seems to me bush got far easier treatment. If the press had actually been doing their job, Bush would have been impeached.

Yes, all presidents are under scrutiny, but the likes of Sean Insannity, Rush Blimpaugh, and Glen ‘the moron’ Beck, are out right liars, and are spreading lies and propaganda never seen before. And there are still plenty of idiots out there who listen to them because they are blinded by ideology and don’t bother to even invesitigate the truthfulness of what they hear as long as it supports their twisted views of the world.

They don’t seem to be able to tolerate the fact that Obama is popular, and that their Idiot in Cheif, Bush is despised by most americans.

Answer #3

This is a very legitimate question. After observing Craigslists Rants and Raves I have made the following observations”

1)People who were borderline racist have now become full blown racists

2)The people who were against the Democrats are still feeling bitter at the loss of being in charge for 8 years- and its easy to blame someone who doesn’t “look like them”

My feelings are like yours; that is, the Presidency of the United States is the worlds toughest job- even with the best advisors, he needs a full year before any form of real judgement can be made of his leadership roles.
