philosophy is more about theories about how the world came to be and sociology is more of how society develops and racism, and cliques, and basically the development of people in groups

Philosophy is the study of philosophies; ideas and knowledge on the nature of existence, how the world came to be and concerns looking at theories and views of fundamental key philosophers. Mainly it is known as a more religious subject and many link it to Religious Education. It may have focuses of morality, what’s right and wrong and is known to be a subject for “deep thinkers.”

Sociology is regarded as a more scientific subject and looks at society and the study of human social behavior. This my also refer to human psychology, such as why people do things and why people react to it, humans wants and needs, how the human mind reacts to social change ect. It may also focus on concepts such as the ego and reality versus fantasy.
