How much of a difference in temperature does one degree make?

Answer #1

Well, it depends, a lot of people getting degrees don’t end up getting a job in the same thing. However if it were something more specific like for example, you got a degree in engineering and then you wanted to be a doctor, that won’t work at all. So really it depends on the degree and the job requirements.

Answer #2

As Janicee said, it really depends on the job requirements. If you find a field that really interests you it would probably be a good idea to go for the degree because in the end, you would most likely make more money. I, for instance, love science. I can’t see myself in any other type of career. Most of the jobs I want to work require at least a bachelors degree in biology. Having a masters or PhD in a specific field of bio would not only pay more money, but also make me more marketable in the competitive job market.

Answer #3

My dads friend got a degree in college for teaching. He ended up working for the UPS company, but because of his degree he was promoted to manager. Personally I think getting an education is worth it because I’d rather have something and never use it than to not have something that I wish I had.

Answer #4

I think it makes a huge difference having a degree. People have much higher expectations now. Even the admin staff in my department have degrees. Its not always necessary, but its becoming harder to get a job without one. For me, getting a job in science is going to require a masters degree which i should finish in six months. But it may not be long before the minimum education required is a PhD.

Answer #5

It depends on what you want to be. If your dream is to be a guitar teacher, an artist, or a chef, then you don’t necessarily need a degree. Jobs based on portfolios will hire the more talented applicant over the one with the degrees in everything anyday.

Although, if you want to be a teacher, lawyer, doctor etc you need the degrees because there is no way you can start in those kinds of industries without them.

Answer #6

No no I met how much does of a difference does a degree make in tempeture

Answer #7

No I met how much of a difference does a degree make in tempeture

Answer #8

That’s relative to what the temperature is normally. For example, one summer day, the temperature rises to 25°C … if, the next day, it happens to be 26°C, then you’re not going to notice a big change … however, if water has a freezing point of 0°C then even one degree (1°C) can cause it to melt.

Answer #9

I cannot give an answer, but wow People cannot on read or have selective reading. The poster of this question said how much of a diffenece in TEMPRETURE does one degree make.

Where did she say anything about…What difference does a degree make XD

Answer #10

There are different measurement systems for temperature. the three most important are…

  1. The Celsius system. Common in Europe, Asia and most of Africa. 0°C is the temperature where water freezes. 100°C is the temperature where water becomes gaseous. -273°C is the coldest possible temperature in the universe.
  2. The Fahrenheit System, Common in America. 32°F is the temperature where water freezes, 212°F is the temperature where water boils/becomes gaseous. -460°F is the coldest possible temperature in the universe.
  3. The Kelvin System. Common in science, especially physics. 273°K is the temperature where Water freezes, 373°K is the temperature where water boils/evaporates. 0°K is the coldest possible temperature in the universe.

In Kelvin and Celsius, 1° is equally “wide”. Fahrenheit degrees are “shorter” than Celsius/Kelvin degrees. A rising of temperature of 18°F is equal to a rising of temperature of 10°K or 10°C. http://funadvice.com/r/155nh81ve2m
