What do you think life after death is like. I ask myself this all the time. Sometimes it scares me…That would be a reason im somewhat scared of dieing. What happens to you? Where do all your thoughts go? What is the idea of spirits? Can someone give me an idea of the world beyond this…Is this our first life…or our Last?

Answer #1

And just because you DO believe in God, doesn’t mean he IS real. Besides, I never said God doesn’t exist.

And NO… you don’t KNOW that’s where you’re going. You BELIEVE that’s where you’re going. Having FAITH (belief without knowing) is a REQUIREMENT for Christians.

To claim that you KNOW, undermines the very concept of faith.

Answer #2

I know where I’m going

No… you don’t… learn the difference between ‘believing’ and ‘knowing’

Answer #3

I can’t say I fear death. I know where I’m going, which is to Heaven to join the Lord. I used to be scared but that was when I doubted if God was real. Now I’m not scared at all, actually I’m quite excited.

Answer #4

I think lots of people are scared of death and mostly because we don’t know what happens and we aren’t around death very much. Modern day societies debate about if there even is an afterlife which can make death all the more concerting. Also the fact that death is hidden away from us (ex.: old folk homes, hospitals, etc), we don’t get to see it and learn to deal with it as part of life. No one can truly answer your question simply because no one comes back from death (except if you take near death experiences into account but then again they aren’t dead are they). So it’s something that you just have to accept as being part of what makes life beautiful. One thing is for sure, when you die you go back to mother earth and nothing is lost. Those that you loved and helped will remember you. And your life energy will transform and become part of the universe (even to the last atom). It’s been this way since before humans and will be this way forever so don’t worry to much about afterlife but more about present life!

Answer #5

I agree with jester_x, again I have no proof, but I believe there is life after death, maybe not the same way we live now but I think we have choices and our life decisions determine our destiny.

Answer #6

Death is the final and permanent end of life. There is no life after death.

Answer #7

Reply to jester_x Can we normally see the subtale world? Its a big ‘No’. Then you mean it never exists. log on to google and find the website[spiritualresearchfoundation… ]to know further.we are yet to know many things and promptly deny.

Answer #8

Well, as humans, everyones creative of where they want their life to lead and where they want to go when it ends people don’t think the afterlife will be all sparkly and heavenly, they want it to.

personally I don’t worry about death too much. its a waste of you’re life to think too far into the future about something we may never know for sure about

Reply to doggy_call This site is laughable to say the lest as to actualy compared to science.

FROM THE SITE www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org

The following are the principles of spiritual research

  1. Cannot use conventional measurement and analysis tools
  2. Conducted through the sixth sense or extrasensory perception (ESP)
  3. Spiritual dimension is just as systematic and logical as that of the physical world
  4. Knowledge obtained in a ready-made format from the Universal Mind and Intellect
  5. Spiritual research is not dependent on time or place
  6. Needs to be under the guidance of a spiritually evolved guide.

I encourage everyone to explore this site and see the obsurity of it. I highly suggest fthe page about ghost.

“”According to spiritual science”” This is an oximoron, there is no science in spiritual science, atlest not accepted be real science. Where did yo get 7 layers of Hell? Rudolf Steiner had very little science behind him. there is no claim to a scientific basis, its ideas are not empirically derived and neither reproducible nor testable

I believe we so to a place where we can reflect on this and other lives we’ve led. Then we have a choise, to either become guiding spirits or reincarnated.

Let me state that I have no empirical evidence or proof of this either

Answer #11

According to spiritual science people may go to either hell or heaven according to one’s deed ie doctrine of karma. The region of hell or heaven is further sub divided into seven layers. your deeds will determine where you will go. I have seen earth bound bad spirits with my own eyes creating mischiefs unable to be liberated.so keep on doing which is just and fair. There is God, there is hell, and there is heaven.

Answer #12

“No… you don’t… learn the difference between ‘believing’ and ‘knowing’”

I know the difference. So again I will say, I KNOW where I am going. Just because you don’t believe in God doesn’t mean he isn’t real.

*[“I can’t say I fear death. I know where I’m going, which is to heaven to join the Lord…”]

*My dear sister:

Praise God for your testimony on this board! The Lord promises us that if we confess Him before the world…He will confess us before the Father. We have a wonderful Saviour who ransomed us with His Blood and has assured us that we will be resurrected unto a body like unto His glorious body at His Coming…for we have a hope that the unsaved world does not have…nor can have without Him.

So Bless you my dear sister and God Bless your family and friends as well.

Your brother,

Avim

Answer #14

Well the morning atter my brother died, I was sitting at the hotel waiting for a cab to pick me up, when suddenly I saw my brother face: yes just his face. He smiled and then said “I am free, I am free”then he laughed his very unique laugh and the repeat the same thing.

Then while at work I was working on the computer and I had the vision: I saw myself in the sky, I looked up and saw that clear ramp that was right over the stars…the ramp lead to a white light with a pillar on each side and 3 cold clouds on each side of the pillar. Then as I looked around on both sides of the ramp were gold clouds that lined the ramp…I looked down toward earth and saw my brother visiting friends and relatives…then suddenly he was up amoung the gold clouds and was so intrigued by the gold clouds he kept looking around them to see if he could figure out how they stayed suspened above the stars…

then he went to the clearing which was right in the middle of the ramp toward the white light…he suddenly slumped over and laughted and said :”okay you got me : then he went to the white light..

then about 2 weeks later while driving home>>his voice said YOu would like it up here..”

I also had a vision of my father taking care of my 16 year old cat Snickers…

So yes I believer in Heaven,..

*[“What do you think life after death is like. I ask myself this all the time. Sometimes it scares me…That would be a reason im somewhat scared of dieing. What happens to you? Where do all your thoughts go? What is the idea of spirits? Can someone give me an idea of the world beyond this…is this our first life…or our last?”]

*The reason you FEAR death is because you have NO ASSURANCE of whether you are SAVED and on your way to HEAVEN to be with God. Everyone who does NOT have this ASSURANCE fears DEATH whether they admit it or not. If there is NO God…then DYING is just perpetual NON-EXISTENCE…with nothing to FEAR. However, if Christianity is TRUE…then you have EVERY reason to FEAR death…because going into eternity WITHOUT Jesus Christ as your Saviour means a SECOND death in HELL: “For the WAGES of sin is DEATH, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord” [Romans 6:23].

BOTTOM-LINE: It is ONLY Christianity that says that DEATH brings JUDGMENT to the UNREPENTANT. So…EITHER death brings the CESSATION of EXISTENCE…or some kind of PARADISE that is open to EVERYONE. It is irrational to FEAR this kind of UNCERTAINTY. So the ONLY kind of UNCERTAINTY that should be FEARED is WHETHER or NOT Christianity is TRUE.
