How can I fix this bad haircut?

I went to the hairdresser to get my side bangs cut and they cut them super short and very choppy right beside my face. it looks terrible and doesn’t even go with the rest of my hair, it’s not even on an angle so it looks very odd and I was so upset with the result. they are too short to be put back because they fall back out in a second and also too short to put behind my ears. does anyone have any ideas what I could do? besides pitting them back or leaving them down, is there maybe a certain way to curl it perhaps?? I don’t know, any advice or ideas are appreciated! and also, how long approximately until they start to grow longer? thanks

this happend to me once lol omg i was so depressed i didn take any pictures, but i kinda made this hair style where i twist the whole bang to the side and put a clip at the end, until it finally started growing longer, or sometimes i would brush it alll the way to the side trying to make a side bang lol
