Day 2. No sleep at all.

I’ve always had difficulty falling asleep. And last night, even though I had no sleep the previous night, I could not fall asleep despite my head pounding and feeling so tired I felt like puking. Anyone have some really really good tips to fall asleep?

Answer #1

One thing I do is when I am laying in bed I force myself to breath deep relaxed breaths and I will say the word one in my head while I am breathing in and two while I am breathing out. Another thing I do is watch relaxation and guided sleep videos on youtube while I am trying to go to sleep.

Try to move less.I always try to make my thoughts fly.For example : If I’m suddenly thinking of the cereal I ate last night I immdiately change the subject. But don’t force it like focusing too much on it,just let it flow. I hope this helps

You can buy melatonin. It’s a synthetic version of your body’s natural sleep hormone. Two little tabs that dissolve under your tongue should knock you out and get your sleep pattern back. Also you might want to try meditation before bed. People tend to think a lot laying in bed and it keeps them awake. Meditation will relax both mind and body and will also help with sleep :)
