Seems to me you are overreacting at this point. What if weed becomes legal and what if he decides to start using it again and what if your parents find out? If you just started seeing this guy than why are you thinking that far ahead? If or when it is legal he may need to decide if smoking is more important to him than pleasing you and you may need to decide if him smoking is a show stopper for you or something you can live with. At this point everything is hypothetical. Moreover, if your bio is right and you are 23 than why the heck are you so worried about what your parents think? At this point you should be living your own life rather than trying to meet your parent’s expectations.

Remember one thing girl.this guy you are talking about.it is you who is going to become his life partner.not your parents.but i believe that parents know better and sometimes control everything.some parents are religious and totally strict about rules in that case that guy can either quite it or have it a dark secret.or i think when you are old enough like 20+.your parents may understand seeing you are responsible.everyone have their habbits.like i drink and someone smokes these are bad for health but weed is not that harmful if you know.thats totally out of subject.i think you should accept him as he is.what do you say is it okay with you that he uses weed or whatever.
