Should I go to dad's again, stay, or run away?

Mom and step dad just got into a huge argument when step dad found out I have been arrested a couple times. for stupid stuff (i.e. shoplifting, vandalism, disturbing the peace) Step dad wants me out of his house, but mom says she wont let him slam the door in my face and they’re arguing and it’s just like it was the first time I did something stupid and broke my parents up. I can even understand why step dad doesn’t want me here (My older brother is the prodigy; the twins, my half brother and sister, are young; and I’m the epic fail Devil child) but Where am I suposed to go? I’m 15 years old, which means few options. So, what should I do? Go to dad’s again, stay, or run away?

Answer #1

Stay.Talk to your mom and step father. It may seem like everyones against you at times but there not.Of course your step dads going to get mad about finding out his step son was arrested a couple of times witch means he cares about you.If he didnt he really wouldnt give a damn about you and just let you do whatever the heck you want with your life.He just needs to cool off.Once he has talk to him.Say your sorry and that you understand how he feels. Both of your parents care about you. You may be the one who gets into trouble the most But your not an epic fail. Believe it or not your on this earth for a reason.Dont run away that will only make things worse.Hope this helped :)

Answer #2

You’re not a devil child, you’re just in an angsty phase of your life. Let your parents cool off before making any hasty decisions. Please stay with your family, or if that bothers you, go live with your dad I guess. I agree with Andrea, your stepdad cares enough to be angry at the choices you made… Don’t run away, your situation will become much worse.

Answer #3

You can always stay with a friend until your parents calm down. You can prove to them that you’re not a miscreant and you deserve to be treated like the child you are.

Answer #4

Take Andrea’s good advice. Ask your stepdad to go out for a soft drink or a walk with you to talk about it privately. Listen patiently and attentively to his concerns. Tell him you think that stuff you did before was stupid now, and ask him to give you another chance. Persuade him by your manner (as much as your words) that you are serious about doing whatever is necessary to make it work, because it is important to you. Do NOT run away! Remember Marisha’s advice to think about “what you can change about you that would improve your chemistry with them.” (http://www.funadvice.com/q/living_dad_step_mom_live)

Answer #5

it all depends upon your choices. what you have in your mind and what do you want to achieve.
