My dad is cool and everything but when it comes to his truck its....:/ It's a Ford F150 something and he has had it for 4 years, and it still smells like new car, like he JUST got it. Whenever he gets food from a fast food resturaunt or leftovers, he puts them in the truck bed so it doesn't make his truck smell. My mom can't wear too much perfume nor I body spray. If our heads are damp (showers) we have to lean forward so his seats don't get wet. We can't eat in his truck, but we can have drinks. We go to Wawa alot and I always get a milkshake and I'll put it in a cup holder (it has hinges so it expands to the cup size) and he will yell at me saying that its not the right cup and it will break when it fits just fine. Is he obsessed or.....
It's not obsessed. Men, especially with vehicles, like to have it super clean because it's a sign of how well the person takes care of his posessions. When I drive in my car, I NEVER have any old wrappers, bottles, unnecessary things on the floor or in the seats. My sister on the other hand, she'll finish a drink and just throw the bottle on the ground, or stuff bubble gum wrappers into the pockets and NEVER takes it with her when she leaves the car.
I am sure your dad is fine. lol It's normal for guys to be obsessed with their cars. My dad is obsessed with his Cadillac, he will spend hours on the weekends rubbing the leather seats with this lotion type stuff and scrubbing the wheels with a tooth brush, the car always smells perfect XD We only use it for special occasions and we aren't allowed to eat food in their either only water is allowed. lol
My dad is the same way with his truck, It's a 2007 Ram that he bought new. We have never been allowed to eat in it. Even tho my dad smokes he has never smoked in the truck. He keeps it waxed and detailed. He always parks it far away so that it doesn't get dings or scratches. He has a trailer that he hauls things in because he doesn't want to risk scratching the bed. I could go on but I won't. lol :)
He isn't blessed with his truck it maybe the the only really mice thing he has ever had or he Just don't won't a sorry lookn truck and ppl to think bad of him Ik when I bought my truck I was very proud of myself becuz I had to.buy it so i make sure it is taken care of ..... Nothing to worry bout tho
Everyone needs something. Some people have cats, stamp collections, or makeup. Your dad has his truck. He maybe obsessed but it's not something you need to worry about.
